WPR is pleased to announce that its website has obtained AA-level accessibility certification, in compliance with the guidelines of the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
This is a voluntary initiative, not required by regulatory obligations, demonstrating the company’s commitment to concrete and universal digital inclusion.
This achievement is part of a broader strategy in which WPR promotes equal opportunities and enhances diversity—an approach already reflected in the gender equality certification obtained in 2024. The goal is to extend the concept of inclusion beyond the company environment, involving everyone who interacts with the brand online.
The AA certification ensures that all versions of the website (Italian, English, and German) are accessible to people with different abilities, thanks to compatibility with assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and adaptive tools. In particular, the AA level guarantees:
- Visual accessibility: optimal contrast, scalable fonts, compatibility with screen readers
- Motor accessibility: full keyboard navigation
- Cognitive accessibility: clear structure and easy-to-understand content
For WPR, digital accessibility is not just a technical milestone—it is a reflection of the company’s values and its vision for a more inclusive, discrimination‑free future, both inside and outside the organization.
