In 2007 WPR presented the first design of a profile wrapping machine with automatic set-up.
Since the first machine, the technology has continuously evolved based on feedbacks and the increasingly demanding needs of our customers.

The automatic machines offer a rapid changeover from one form of profile shape to another. This permits  the customer to produce on demand , reducing the stock of profiles and the associated costs. They allow short production runs for special geometries, special colors or urgent deliveries, offering the end customer short delivery times and excellent service.

This gives to our customers competitive performances of lamination and an important advantage over the competitors.

At a certain point TAKA-WPR decided to develop a machine that implement all the process parameters to ensure not only fast set-up times and optimized productivity, but also to add value to the final product.

The result was the LUNA-R series, a never-before-seen level of technology that blends in perfectly with the production and work requirements of the operating staff for the most efficient wrapping machine on the market.
